GRISS

GRISS (Grup de Recerca en Imatge, So i Síntesi), is a consolidated research group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, created in 1980, acknowledged by the Generalitat de Catalunya and attached to the Departament de Comunicació Audiovisual y Publicitat.

Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is internationally renowned for its quality and innovation in research. The university coordinates a potent scientific and technological centre (the Esfera UAB), promotes new business projects, and directs and projects its productive activity towards its socio-economic surroundings by disseminating new knowledge.

Asociació Catalana de Ràdio

The Associació Catalana de Ràdio was born in 1992, and is composed by all the commercial and private radio stations that work in Catalonia.

Its objectives are to promote the private commercial Catalan radio diffusion, to watch over the freedom of speech, to consolidate the Catalan communication space, and to contribute to the development of the sector, according to a changing legal and economic environment.

Catalunya Ràdio

Catalunya Ràdio is a group of public radio stations in Catalonia. This group is administered by the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA) and is currently composed by four radio stations: generalist Catalunya Ràdio and thematic Catalunya Informació, Catalunya Música and iCat FM.

Ràdio Nacional d'Espanya a Catalunya

Radio Nacional de España is the public national Spanish radio diffusion channel. Since 1973, it is part of the public organism Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE). It is composed by six different channels: Radio 1, Radio Clásica, Radio 3, Radio 5, Radio Exterior de España and Ràdio 4, autonomic Catalan-speaking radio station.

COMRàdio

COM Ràdio is a public Catalan channel. It was created in March 1995, as a group of municipal radio stations promoted by the Diputació de Barcelona and administered by the Consorci de Comunicació Local. Currently, almost 120 local radio stations are part of this group, which provides coverage to five and a half million of citizens.

Consorci de Comunicació Local

The Consorci de Comunicació Local was created the 19th September in 1994 in order to develop a proximity communication. The Diputació de Barcelona, the Mancomunitat de Municipis de l'Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona and the Associació d'Emissores Municipals de Catalunya were the founders. Later, the Ajuntament de Barcelona and a hundred more town councils joined. The objective of the Consorci is the promotion of the local communication.

Consorci Local i Comarcal de Comunicació

The Consorci Local i Comarcal de Comunicació is an entity with own legal resources promoted by the Diputacions of Girona, Lleida and Tarragona, and composed by different town and regional councils from all Catalonia. It was born the 23rd October in 1998, with the aim of promoting and spreading the Catalan language and culture.

Federació de Ràdios Locals de Catalunya

The Federació de Ràdios Locals de Catalunya is composed by local radio stations and cultural associations. More than a hundred radio stations have already joined this group. Its objective is to promote the influence of local radio in the Catalan radio sector.
