L'OBSRadio challenges in the new multimedia
On February 26th 2008, the Observatori de la Ràdio a Catalunya organized its first sectorial international conference. The event was attended by representatives of Catalan, rest of the Spanish territory and other European countries radio diffusion. It consisted in two morning sessions and a round table in the afternoon.
In the morning, the conferences La ràdio front la convergència media-telecoms, by SRF professionals (France) and ARD-WDR professionals (Germany), and El multimèdia: competència o oportunitat per a la ràdio, where professionals from BBC (United Kingdom), SR (Sweden) and UER (Switzerland) participated.
In the afternoon, at the round table Els reptes del multimèdia per a la ràdio, directives from some of the most important Catalan and national radio groups participated, such as Catalunya Ràdio, Unión Radio, Grup Segre, Grup TeleTaxi, RNE and Onda Cero.
The conferences conclussions were contributed by the OBS director, Mr. Josep Maria Martí, by CAC President , Mr. Josep Maria Carbonell, and by ARC President, Mr. Eugeni Sallent.
